Life's Mission for Christians

Careful study of the Bible shows that each Christian is placed here in the world to do the Will of God.
The person who lives for himself alone has never caught a vision of the true meaning and order of life.
Life becomes barren unless I as a Christian truly seek to fall in with God's plan for me and do the work
of service He has sent me to do.
Life is a mission.  Jesus Christ describes life as a mission of service and commands that we, as
Christians, should follow His lead when He said in John 13:15,16: "That ye should do as I have done to you.  Verily, Verily I say unto you, The servant is not greater than His Lord; neither he that is sent greater that He that sent him."  Then in verse 34-35 said. "A new commandment I give unto you,  That ye love one another: as I have loved you, ....By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have
love on to another."  Ask yourself as a Christian, "Do I show this kind love and devotion to those I come in contact with daily at work, at home, at school, or do I need to work on my relationships with others and
be more of a servant like Christ in my daily walk?"

What the world wants to see in the Christians and the Church.

Christians who are in vital touch with Christ by virtue of their own personal faith. Where Christ is the vine of  which they are the branches and all their Christian experiences are a matter of being wrought into Christ, for Christ and Christ's Spirit are the determining energies of their lives.  This is the church for
which the world is waiting to see. This is the simple vital truth that humanity craves and longs to see.
The ordinary person of the world has difficulty understanding the elaborate systems of doctrines of religion, but people know the life of Jesus when they see it, and in Him Christianity consists of not many things, but one thing.
Once in contact with Jesus Christ, the seeker for truth is not confused with complicated questions of convictions and conduct.  Life is the essential thing. Where there is true Christian life shown in the believer, the fruit of that life will surely manifest itself.  The Christianity of Jesus Christ is not a system of doctrine, nor a form of worship, nor a code of morals, but the divine life of Jesus Christ shown in the lives and spirit in the human soul of the believers.   "God is a spirit: and they that worship Him must worship
Him in spirit and in truth."  To the true Christian Christ will be the one important model of life. He will know Christ as a personal force in life. Christ will energize him, inspire him, be the motive of all he does. He will yield to Christ exact, absolute and prompt obedience. As Christ said, "Christians will be known by their love for one another, and the love they have for their fellowman."
